2nd Annual Maricopa Makeover Unveiling

Karen Jackson’s life and health has completely changed with help from the Maricopa Makeover Team; Balance Personal Training, Renassaince2, Family Dentistry of Maricopa, Lotus Transformations, A-1 Health and Wellness, PureHues Hair Salon, Copa Tan, Advanced ENT & Cosmetic Surgery and Michelle's Nail and Spa.

All of her closest friends, family and sponsors gathered at Family Dentistry of Maricopa, on May 30, to show their support and congratulate Karen Jackson. "As she stepped out from behind the red curtain to make a beautiful entrance, Karen was glowing with confidence. She looked absolutely stunning from head to toe." says Nicole Hendricks. Carol Brines from PureHues Hair Salon cut and styled Jacksons hair and applied makeup, just before the unveiling, to go perfectly with her little black dress.

"Since the makeover came to an end on Friday the 30th, I’ve had a few days to reflect and think about all the wonderful things that I’ve gained since stumbling across the advertisement for the makeover back at the end of February (just 2 days prior to the deadline) and deciding it was something I desperately wanted/needed to win.

Since being involved in the makeover, I’ve gone from dealing with extreme stress and insomnia to feeling absolutely fantastic and having tons of energy. No more depression medication, and no more sleeping pills. Not only that, my body craves running!!! My smile is so much bigger and brighter now thanks to the ZOOM! treatments as well as the reshaping of my top teeth and realignment of my bottom teeth! After the wonderful massage sessions and chiropractic sessions, the tension and stiffness in my neck and shoulders have improved greatly. I’ve also learned from those sessions how to relax and deal with my stress in a much more productive way. The chemical peel and Botox and Restylane injections have brightened and smoothed out the skin on my face dramatically. Having a beautiful tan can make you feel radiant, and that’s exactly what my tan has done for me. My new hair cut and style are fantastic, very easy to maintain on my own, and I’ve been told I look at least 10 years younger!! Knowing that I have a local doctor’s office with a wonderful staff and an extremely caring physician’s assistant to go to brings me great piece of mind, especially having two teenage boys!

All in all, the Maricopa Makeover was an absolutely wonderful experience for me. The sponsors went well above and beyond my expectations.
